# Sarara Portal: Haiti Geology and Hydrogeology Library

> Open geospatial library and map collection for the Republic of Haiti's geology and
> hydrogeology. Provides access to hydrogeological maps, scientific documents, and spatial
> datasets to support water resource planning, groundwater management, and evidence-based
> infrastructure decisions.

The Sarara Portal is a GeoNode-based spatial data infrastructure serving government
agencies, NGOs, academia, and consultants working on Haiti's water resources. Built on
GeoNode 5.x, Django 5, and GeoServer.

Target users: hydrogeologists, water engineers, government planners, international NGOs,
and academics working on water supply, groundwater resource assessment, and sustainable
water infrastructure in Haiti.
